Removed With Care, Ready for Its Next Wall
Most air conditioners are not killed by age. They are killed the day someone rips them off the wall with the gas still in the lines. Our technicians pump the refrigerant back into the outdoor unit, cap every pipe, and remove both units carefully, so your AC arrives at its next wall ready to cool.
- Full refrigerant pump-down

Signs you need this service
House move on the calendar
Packers can carry an AC, but only a technician can disconnect it without venting the gas that makes it work.
Renovation starting soon
Masonry dust and paint mist wreck open coils, so the unit should come off the wall before the first hammer swings.
Replacing an old unit
An outgoing AC holds exchange value only if its refrigerant circuit survives the removal intact.
Civil or wall work planned
When the outdoor unit sits where scaffolding or waterproofing crews need to be, it must come down cleanly and go back up later.
A quote that skips pump-down
If a remover plans to simply cut the copper lines, the refrigerant escapes and the compressor pays the price at reinstall.

Why it’s worth doing properly
Trained on the unglamorous step
Our founder learnt removals on service calls in his father's AC business, where a rushed pump-down meant a ruined compressor. Every Airam technician is drilled on the same discipline.
One team, both ends of the move
The crew that takes your AC down can refit it at the new address. Labelled wiring and capped pipes mean the reinstall starts exactly where the removal left off.
Priced before the ladder goes up
Uninstallation from ₹799, quoted upfront. No mid-job additions once the unit is half off the wall.
Verified people on a chaotic day
Moving day means open doors and strangers in every room. Airam sends background-verified, uniformed technicians, and a GST digital invoice follows the job.
How the visit goes
Book a slot
Choose a same-day slot and tell us the unit type, the floor, and whether you need a reinstall at the other end.
Pre-removal check
The technician runs the AC first and records how it cools, so its condition is documented before anything comes down.
Pump-down and removal
Refrigerant is recovered into the outdoor unit, valves are closed, pipes are capped, and both units come off the wall unhurried.
Pack and handover
Wiring is labelled, units are wrapped for transit, and your GST digital invoice arrives before we leave.
FAQ
Uninstallation — frequently asked
Everything customers ask before booking a first visit.
Pump-down means running the compressor briefly to pull all the refrigerant back into the outdoor unit before the pipes are disconnected. Skip it, and the gas vents into the room the moment the lines are cut. The AC would then need a fresh R32 charge of ₹2,500-3,500 before it cools again. Done properly, the charge travels with the unit at no extra cost.
