Airam AC Service
installation

Your AC is only as good as its install

A rushed installation shortens an AC's life before its first Chennai summer. We select the right wall, pull a proper vacuum before commissioning, set the drain slope, and bill copper piping per foot on a digital invoice. Core split installation from ₹1,499 plus materials, with same-day slots across the city.

  • Vacuum before every commissioning
  • Copper billed per foot
  • Core install from ₹1,499

Signs you need this service

New AC, still boxed

Your new split AC is home and deserves better than a purge-and-go fitting done in a hurry.

Shifting house soon

A relocation needs careful uninstallation, fresh flaring and a full re-commission at the new address.

Free install felt rushed

The brand crew skipped the vacuum pump, purged with refrigerant and left, and the cooling already feels thin.

Water drips after installation

An indoor unit that leaks within weeks usually means the drain slope was never set correctly.

Long or tricky pipe run

An outdoor unit on another floor or a far wall needs measured copper, clean bends and honest per-foot billing.

Replacing an old unit

Existing piping needs a pressure and corrosion check before a new AC is allowed to run on it.

Why it’s worth doing properly

Vacuum, never a purge

Many installers release refrigerant to push air out of the lines. We connect a vacuum pump and evacuate the circuit before commissioning, so moisture and air never reach the compressor — the single biggest factor in how long your AC lives.

Raised in the trade

Our founder spent years on service calls in his father's AC business, seeing what bad installs do to good machines. Those habits are now the standard every Airam technician installs to.

Per-foot billing you can watch

Copper is measured on site with you, rates are confirmed before drilling starts, and the exact footage appears on your GST digital invoice. No mystery coil charges.

Placed for Chennai, not a manual

Sea air corrodes condenser coils and 40°C summers punish outdoor units in direct sun. We position for shade, service access and monsoon drainage, and tell you honestly whether your building's voltage swings call for a stabilizer.

How the visit goes

STEP 1

Book a slot

Pick a same-day slot and tell us the tonnage, floor and roughly where the outdoor unit will sit.

STEP 2

Site assessment

A background-verified, uniformed technician checks wall strength, sunlight and airflow, measures the pipe run, and confirms the full price before any drilling.

STEP 3

Install and commission

We mount both units, connect and flare the copper, pull a vacuum, release the gas, check every joint, set the drain slope and run the AC until cooling is verified.

STEP 4

Handover and aftercare

You get a digital GST invoice, stabilizer and usage guidance, and a straightforward promise: if our workmanship gives trouble, we return and set it right.

FAQ

Installation — frequently asked

Everything customers ask before booking a first visit.

Purging pushes air out by releasing refrigerant, and it leaves moisture behind. Moisture inside an R32 or R410A circuit forms acids that quietly attack the compressor. We connect a vacuum pump and pull the lines down before releasing gas. It takes longer, and it is the difference between an AC that cools for a season and one that cools for years.
